Terms of Service

Purpose

SCRIBE Investigations is a social operations tool for authorised brand and creator accounts. Depending on the permissions granted by the account owner, it may prepare or publish content, read account-level performance information, moderate or reply to comments, respond to account messages, or perform explicitly controlled engagement actions.

Authorisation

Users must only connect accounts they own or are authorised to manage. Platform credentials, access tokens and refresh tokens must be handled securely and must not be shared publicly. SCRIBE Investigations applies account-identity checks and may refuse an action if the authenticated account cannot be verified.

Content and rights

Users are responsible for ensuring that text, images, audio and video they publish are lawful and that they hold the necessary rights. SCRIBE Investigations may refuse publication when rights, account identity, brand fit, quality or platform requirements cannot be verified.

Messages, comments and engagement

Where an account has granted the necessary platform permissions, SCRIBE Investigations may access comments or messages so the authorised account can moderate or respond to them. Automated or assisted engagement remains subject to SCRIBE Investigations's brand-specific safety controls and the relevant platform rules.

Platform rules

Use remains subject to the applicable terms, policies and API rules of Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube and any other connected service.

Availability

The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. Third-party APIs may change, fail or restrict functionality without notice.

Revocation

Users may revoke a connected platform's access through that platform's account settings. Revocation stops future authorised use of that credential. Data-deletion instructions are available at https://www.scribeinvestigations.com/perry-white/data-deletion.
