SCRIBE is a documentary studio and a public research system in the same operation. The research that produces a film also produces the page used to check it.
The mission
Most documentary work evaporates. The film circulates, the claims travel further than the sources, and little remains that a curious person can inspect. SCRIBE is built the other way round: the written investigation is the durable object, and the film is one way of telling it.
Established evidence comes first because that is where the weight sits. Credible alternatives are assessed on their merits. Speculation is named, not smuggled.
The operating model
Research is done once and structured once, then prepared across the film, investigation page, places network, timeline, evidence atlas and future dossiers. The same structure makes later correction possible.
The programme is organised across Ancient Worlds, Archaeological Discovery, Human Origins, Earth in Transition, Wildlife & Natural World, Oceans & Submerged Worlds, Space & Cosmos, Anomalies & Belief, Mind & Consciousness, and Future Earth & Technology.
Google Drive holds the private research vault: working notes, drafts, source registers, rights records and production material. The public research library is organised across ten research topics, with investigations linked to their source trail, Atlas context and master timeline where relevant. Private controls and unfinished production assets remain in Drive.
Disclosure
AI tooling is used in production. A person must review and approve every written investigation and every film before public release, and retains editorial responsibility. Illustrations, reconstructions and decorative imagery are not treated as evidence; evidential images retain their source and credit context.
Documentary release status is shown on the matching investigation page. The public research record remains available whether or not a video companion has been released. Current status is shown on the investigations index.
